Nakamura Tome have been in the business of building CNC machine tools specifically CNC lathes and Multi-axis turning centers since 1949, in which they were the first to gain ISO 9001 certification in Japan. Based in Kanazawa, they have been manufacturing precsion machine tools and offering machining services from its 400 strong workforce. They offer currently over 19 different type of lathe and turning centre, including 5-axis and dual spindle configured machines.

Nakamura CNC Machine Range includes

  • CNC Lathes: Super Precision, High Speed, and Twin Spindle turning centres.
  • CNC Multi-Axis Turning Centers.

Nakamura, like most other Japanese CNC machine tool manufacturers, have used Fanuc since the advent of the NC system. And to date are still using Fanuc on their lathes and turning centers.
