Leadwell was formed in 1980 as the first Taiwanese machine tool company. At that point it had designed its first knee mill and cnc milling machine for a customer in the US. in 1982 it was the first company in Taiwan to produce a CNC machining centre, and from there it goes on. Leadwell today have a range of over 42 machines which cover vertical and horizontal CNC machining centre's, performance and heavy duty turning centre lathes and some massively heavy duty mc's. Leadwell has been a big seller worldwide since its incorporation. It is now being deployed factory wide.
