Hurco Companies, Inc started in 1969 with the collarboration of the two founding partners. In 1971 the autobend NC was released by the company, and in 76' conversational programming was offered to industry for the first time. Hurco has since set up its own subsiduary operations in the UK, Germany and France, and also has manufacturing contractors from Poland, Spain, Italy and Taiwan. The company produces a range of Machining Centre's for comple 4-5 axis cutting, vertical travelling coloum machines for die cutting, and a series of turning lathes. Hurco is a well respected and strong name throughout the machine tools industry.

Hurco's range comprises of the following: the

  • Machining Centre's: VM, VMX.
  • Vertical Travelling Coloum System: VTC series
  • Turning Centre's: TM series

Hurco has used a variety of control systems, favouring its own ultramax systems, and using other main stream NC's such as Fanuc.
