| Harrison was originally formed way back in 1896, being one of the first machine tool companies in the world, building its first lathe in 1900. Consequently it was bought in 1971 by the 600 Group, and in 1992 was re-located with Colchester lathes to North Yorkshire in the UK, too form one of the biggest lathe building facilities in the world, and certainly the largest in Europe. Harrison make a variety of Machine Tools, and their range includes conventional centre lathes, machining centre's, and a large collection of Alpha M T S and U series machines. Harrison is big in the business of building conventional engine lathes, and within its CNC range has utilised a variety of CNC controls and drive systems. Harrison range includes:
