Colchester was originally formed in 1897, and is currently the largest lathe manufacturer in Europe. And one of the largest manufacturers of conventional and CNC lathes in the world.

The Colchester Machines Range includes the following products: Combi, Mascot, Master, Mastiff, Multiturn, Student, T2, T8, Tornado, Triumph, which are 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis lathes, CNC, manual lathes, conventional engine lathes and slant bed lathes.

Colchester operates via is parent company in countries and continents including UK, America, Europe, Austrialia, Asia and Africa. Colchester and its sister company Harrison are owned as subsiduaries of the 600 Lathes.

Colchester has used a variety of controls through out the years - now mainly Fanuc CNC's in which we offer replacement monitors from, including Fanuc, Matushita, Hitachi, Tatung, Totoku CRT monitors.
