Agie Charmilles Group a collection of former Swiss and American EDM machine manufacturers and high speed US and European machining centre's is one of the largest manufacturers of machine tools in the world today. Formed in 1996 by the George Fischer Group's buying of Agie SA, and its subsiduary Charmilles Technologies Group, being amalgamated together to form Agie Charmilles. The AG group has gone on to build quite an extensive network of machine manufacturers throughout the world.
